Is this picture not totally creepy?! Can you say "Little Baby Fembot"?
Have you seen those beauty pageants for 5 and 6 year old girls ? Holy crap and WTF? I was absolutely horrified the first time I saw it on TV but I didn't pay it much attention and changed the channel... so of course yesterday, since Jerry was a rerun and it was on again, I had to watch it. Not just because Jerry was a rerun but for some reason, as I clicked through the channels and came across the Little Miss Poopy Pants (or whatever the hell it's called) pageant, I just couldn't get my finger to press the channel changing key. I was transfixed. Mesmerized. Horrified. You know when you watch a horror movie, with your hands over your eyes, but you're really looking through your fingers? That was me...except I didn't have my hands over my eyes. My jaws were agape though. Out of sheer incredulity. And I was cackling maniacly about how unsettling it was. I sounded like that character Witch Hazel in the old Bugs Bunny cartoons.

That southern queen Miss Michael has quite the racket going on. I think he's just a bit upset that he wasn't born with a vagina of his own, so he has to live vicariously through these baby Brides of Chucky. And the show went from horrific to uber-horrific when they showed the moms of these prepubescent prima donnas... in one breath saying that they just want their daughter to have fun, and in the next breath lovingly chastising these little gynoids for not smiling more, or winking more, strutting more, or flirting with the judges enough. WHAT?! FLIRTING with the judges?! Jesus H. Motherfucking Christ Almighty! These girls are 5 fucking years old... what's wrong with these women? Are they that unfulfilled?! It was truly frightening.

I watched the whole thing.

  1. HOLY CRAP!!! When I saw the picture on your post, I thought they were those creeped-out dolls that you can order to look just like your child...then as I read, I kept looking back - those are real??? Good lord! This is freakish and sad...The pinnacle of their lives at age 5.

Loved the post title, btw. :)
