...or at least that's how things are going to feel.
Today started what is promising to be a busy, hectec, insane next few months.
My job used to be like this all the time, so I was better at managing. But the last year has been totally cush by comparison. Real hours, evenings/weekends to myself. I've grown soft in my old age.
Today? Let the insanity begin! Taking over the service for the next two weeks, the other half is coming in for a visit starting tomorrow for a festival this weekend and I won't be able to meet him at the airport since I'll be at work from 7:30 am til about 9:30 pm. I have two shows in the next 6 weeks (which I'm happy about since I haven't worked on a show in EIGHT YEARS), the class I'm teaching starts next week (for which I"m woefully unprepared). . .
I'm already tired just thinking about it. So I'll let life slide for a bit while I try to get a handle on the craziness that is going to be my life for a while.
