Is it just me or is pretty much every story some horrific, sad, disturbing revelation of more badness in the world?
Really, I just need to stick my head in the sand and leave it there.

Between now and the end of the month I have two major trips, a class starting, two shows, and prep materials due for two major conferences (which represent no less than 6 presentations, one of which is a plenary address).
How the HELL did I let this happen?
